Free, and no account
The tools are free to use, for anything, including commercially. You need no account, and nothing you make with them is subject to a licence from us. Tools may be added, changed or withdrawn without notice: a page you bookmarked can stop existing, which is the ordinary condition of a free website and worth saying plainly.
No guarantee on the results
The tools are provided as they are. They are built carefully and their sources are named on the methodology page, but no result is guaranteed correct, current or fit for your particular case — and for health, tax, legal and financial matters, none of them is advice. Check anything that matters against its source before you act on it. Within the limits the law allows, we accept no liability for a decision taken on the strength of a figure shown here.
Reasonable use
Use the site as a person would. Automated traffic heavy enough to degrade it for others, and wholesale copying of the catalogue or its editorial content for republication, are the two things that are not welcome. Linking to any page, quoting from it with attribution, and using the tools as often as you like are all fine.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which BYEN SLU is established, as stated in the legal notice. This does not remove any protection you have as a consumer under the law of your own country of residence.
