What the tradition says
Cardinal earth: the sign that builds something meant to outlast the effort. Capricorn takes the long view by default and is comfortable with cost — which reads as coldness to anyone who has not noticed how much of it is patience.

Undemonstrative and extremely reliable, which is a poor combination for a first impression and a good one for a decade. Shows up. Keeps showing up. Says less about it than almost anyone.
At work
The sign most likely to still be there at the end, and the one most at risk of measuring itself only by what it has finished. Give it responsibility early; it will take more than it was offered.
